Ubaldo Baldini estabilished in 1918, in the area of Santa Maria Novella, his firm making objects in bronze which is still named after him.
Ubaldo was not only an artisan of great skill. He had also a passion for antique trade and therefore he started collecting objects in bronze. This collection is may be unique in the world.

From the very beginning of his activity he actually used to store away the model of each piece which was reproduced or repaired and that was given to him by important and demanding customers such as Florentine aristocrats, antique dealers and collectors.
In such a way this collection could be started and in 1950, after Ubaldo’s death, it was his daughter Wilma who carried on his father’s work.
